Thoughts on my paintings - The artist describes herself as follows: "Life with all its processes, events and encounters is inspiration for me. Intuitively, I approach the representation of a process or circumstance with colours, which can be carriers of emotion and content, with shapes and lines. They can become visible through the nesting and complexity of the pictorial spaces. Connections and transitions can be experienced, like the blurring of time and eternity: everything has to do with everything, spirituality can develop.

Vita
 - born 1957 in Zittau
 - Apprenticeship as a potter in Neukirch/Lausitz
 - since 1987 member of the Moritzburg painting and drawing circle
 - 1989 first exhibitions
 - 1991- 2002 worked as an art therapist in the youth welfare centre of the Diakonenhaus Moritzburg e.V.
 - 1999 - 2005 work with addiction patients, since 1991 work in child and youth welfare services
 - Psychotherapeutic training at the HIGW - Hamburg
 - since 2003 freelance work in Moritzburg - studio HIER&JETZT (painting / graphics, courses / teaching assignments)
 - various exhibition participations
