Die große Gabe Steinachers ist eine psychologisch fundierte Empathie und ihre bravouröse Umsetzung ins Bildliche, zumal das Gesicht überlebensgroß die Realität übertrifft. In ihrer Maltechnik bevorzugt Michaela Steinacher die Acrylfarben, die schnell trocknen und sich unkompliziert in mehreren Schichten auftragen lassen.
