With the abstraction of her landscapes always in the foreground, the title of this work already refers to seemingly energetic sensual rushes, a feeling of the artist, which are seemingly endlessly intensified by powerful color compositions. "In love at the marina" may be reminiscent of a scene that the artist has probably actually experienced. It is her trademark to usually express her emotions in her works, even if these are usually immortalized on canvas much later in her studio. Inspired by past emotions, Wachsmann also experiences an extremely emotional workflow in her studio work afterwards, which makes her impressions exciting and comprehensible for the viewer.
