This expressive pop art painting underlines a theme that is omnipresent in everyday consumer life and we encounter daily in the media & advertising. The so-called "leap into freedom was taken as a photo in Berlin on 15 August 1961. The currently 20-year-old photographer Peter Leibing photographed Conrad Schumann in a "snapshot", a 19-year-old riot policeman of the GDR People's Police. In his work, the artist Peter Wolframm questions the urge for freedom in reference to the lived mass consumption in an unconsciously aspired cosumer society, which has a constant urge for Productivityteigerung to the consequence Worked was medium hand screen printing process on a large format canvas.

Peter Wolframm
To escape the constraints of communism, Peter Wolframm, born in Zary Poland, formerly Sorau (Upper Silesia), fled to Germany as early as 1985. With little possessions, Wolframm drew and sketched in every free minute and later began an apprenticeship as a graphic artist and advertising technician, which he successfully completed. In the context of small exhibitions, the artist has been selling his artworks with increasing success since 1999. First galleries were interested in his works. Soon his works were given to renowned art collectors, to companies such as MGM Studios in Hollywood, MoMA Museum of Modern Art in New York, as well as to private collectors worldwide, but mostly sold to enthusiasts who were fascinated by this extraordinary art. In addition to painting, Peter Wolframm is also involved with music. Thus he was to be seen also in a music video with Viva. The musical line is strongly connected with his art. The artist invested a lot of time and commitment in various solo projects, including as an "ambassador of German Pop Art". Peter Wolframm, who has meanwhile set up his studio in an old factory building in Mönchengladbach, is presented exclusively and nationwide in various galleries. Selected works are now also available through our gallery Inspire Art.
