Short description This expressionist painting in the generous format "You never walk... more

Short description

This expressionist painting in the generous format "You never walk alone" by Nicole Glück was created in 2018 in the artist's studio near Dogern (D). On display is a city view of a modern metropolis. The artist knows excellently how to open up to this urban choice of motif by means of memories of what she has already experienced. Almost graceful and incredibly detailed, she succeeds in her work, impressive events to the viewer to transmit and so symbolically experienced visually. The offered original artwork is hand-painted and 100% unique. The signature of the artist can be found on the front. In addition, the work is dated and stamped on the back (gallery stamp "Inspire Art - Original certified"). Different painting techniques, such as acrylic mixed technique and the use of high quality artist ink characterize this unique work.Delivered is the unique on an already mounted Keilrahmem in a depth of about 2.5 cm. The edges are painted around the motif, the canvas is back, and thus invisibly stapled, see also photo oblique view. Art prints of this painting do not exist and are not planned.

The artist Nicole Glück

 Nicole_Luck

The freelance artist and passionate author Nicole Glück was born in Schleswig-Holstein in 1971. Currently she lives and works on versatile art projects, among others in her studio near the Hochrhein area between Lake Constance and Basel in Southern Germany. The self-determined art painter actively devotes herself to her activity since 2006, whereby she puts the artistic emphasis on the "simplification of the object in painting".

Her paintings are antagonistic like herself: In addition to creations and groups of works of concrete landscape painting, her portfolio ranges from abstracted portraits of women to abstract objects and urban city views. Although the situations Nicole Glück depicts recognizably relate to the present, to populated inner cities and bustling metropolises, they cannot be reduced to socially critical statements. Unattractive, plain buildings, which she takes up in reality, are transformed in Glück's painting into a moving picture full of drama, into which observations and notes from numerous visits to cosmopolitan places have flowed.

Thelaconic mysteriousness of the motifs arouses curiosity; through the montage of grotesquely alienated everyday situations, through colourful exaggerations, the Dogern artist succeeds in creating associations that remain suspended between everyday visions and childhood dreams.

Artistic working method
Her object-reduced forms of expression are evidence of her intensive involvement with a wide variety of painting and drawing techniques. Thus they are created in an acrylic mixed technique, which she likes to combine with ink, chalk or rust & patina in her working method.
Particularly characteristic for Glück is the use of unusual materials as well as experimental painting which always produces surprising and impressive results The artist paints her metropolitan motifs for weeks, sometimes even months. When using thin colours, she directs the material without disturbing its flow. The resulting gradients are fluid and form the basis for further motif processes, which are a prerequisite for subsequent elaboration of the later details.

Nicole Glück knows the needs of her audience and is aware that modern art succumbs to the tastes of the times. She intuitively incorporates her experience and the realization that real art does not always have to be explicable, but can also be vivid, into the creation of her works. A stroke of luck - because her non-subordinating way of working obviously meets exactly this taste of the times. The increasing popularity of her art obviously proves her right - her works of art are undisputedly among the most sought-after urban landscapes of their time.
