The painting "Little Clouds" illustrates the contradictoriness in the perception of the depicted. The artist places pure abstraction at the center of his work, he hides things as he reveals them again. If one looks more closely, familiar relationships are awakened, the painter's mental expression becomes visible. It is not the real image of man or nature that comes to the fore, but rather the emotional reference, which finds its perfection in the sea of light of abstraction.

ART FOR A BETTER LIFE - under this motto Dieu creates with an incredible passion, captivating works of art that touch emotionally. His abstract motifs live especially from colorfulness and harmony, temporary consternation becomes more and more understandable with continuous observation and stimulates increased interpretation. In meticulous manner the painter puts his optical effects on the canvas, for the composition he uses rather quick methods: by means of spatula and acrylic mixing technique he arranges background and found motives spontaneously, juggles with emotions and lets the canvas vibrate with tension. "My art speaks volumes - especially in conversations with friends and collectors I learn that my painting is very open to interpretation, you can constantly discover new things - that fascinates me and drives me."

At the same time, in the early days of his work as an artist his works were strongly influenced by concrete paintingIt was only later that the artist explored various art movements, until he finally devoted himself completely to abstract art. This creative phase also brought him the necessary international recognition.

In his metaphorical paintings Dieu describes modern aesthetics and touches taboos. In his search for perfection and classical patterns, he repeatedly shows that beauty and artistic ambition are two sides of the same coin. In his works, the artist explores the hidden layers of man and society. In his most recent motifs, he quotes the feelings and free spirits of public figures, which he interprets in a completely non-objective manner.

Also noteworthy are his experimental series of works, which bear visible traces of spontaneity and intuitive action. The most recent series "Painting", which is strongly reminiscent of large-scale spatula works by Gerhard Richter, cannot be overlooked. Respectfully he analyzes: "Richter has influenced me in a special way, he inspires me in my daily work as an artist."
